National Children's Gardening Week

National Children's Gardening Week

As part of National Children’s Gardening Week St Bridget’s garden centres are offering free children’s activities between 2pm and 4pm on Wednesday 29th May. Children can choose from the following activities: 1. Write your name in seeds and watch your name grow at home. 2. Make a seed ball. Get you hands dirty and create a messy clay ball filled with seeds to throw in your garden when you get home. 3. Make a bird feeder, mix some lard and bird seed together before spreading it into the crack of a pinecone. Hang it up in your garden and watch the birds come to feast. Please note that children should not be left unsupervised. This is a free activity, booking is not necessary. This activity is taking place at St Bridget Old Rydon Lane, Exeter, EX2 7JY and St Bridget Sidmouth Road, Clyst St Mary, Exeter, EX5 1AE from 2pm to 4pm.
