Our garden centre is now fully open – that includes the aquatics centre, café and customer toilets.
Our garden centre continues to follow covid secure procedures and we kindly ask that you follow these to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all who visit us.
For those of you shielding, we encourage you to consider either using our delivery service (if you live within 10 miles of our garden centre) or contactless ‘call and collect’. Simply call 01392 876281 with your wish list and we will advise you on what we have and prices before arranging a time for you to come and collect them.
Our Covid-secure procedures – updated 19th July 2021
Whilst no longer a legal requirement, we encourage all visitors over the age of 11 to wear a face covering that covers their nose and mouth whilst shopping with us. If you choose not to wear a mask, please be respectful of those who are. They maybe at high risk or protecting loved ones who are high risk and as such, please give those individuals more space whilst you shop.
All visitors should use the hand sanitiser provided before entering the shop and again when entering the toilet block or the café. Where possible please do not touch products unless you intend to purchase them.
Once in store, please try to socially distance yourself from others staying at least 1 metre away.
Customer baskets are kept at the entrance door and are sanitised between users. Customer trolleys are now kept instore in the plant area, near the pots and near the compost. We sanitise these after customer use and when we place them in the garden centre. A sanitisation station is available for your use at the shop entrance near the book department.
For the safety and protection of our team we will keep the perspex screens up at all counters.
Once at the till you will be asked to park your trolley in a designated bay and then step back. Our staff will scan your goods and call you forward when they are ready to take payment.
We would prefer you to pay for your goods with contactless card payment where possible. The new limit is £45 for contactless payment and we accept Apple Pay which has a higher payment limit.
At peak trading times we may restrict the number of people entering our aquatics department, which is a smaller indoor space.
When using our café please find a clear table and look at the laminated menu (on the table) and the specials on our black boards. We kindly ask that ONE person from you table comes to the counter with your order. Drinks will be served at the counter, food will be brought to your table. Whilst no longer a legal requirement, we encourage visitors to leave their details at the till or use the track and trace QR code at the café entrance. Condiments will be offered to you when you order or you can ask for more at the counter. Please note that the toilets are not located near the café and are situated outside of the garden centre near the shop exit.
We appreciate your patience and understanding through these difficult times.
